Pastor Bror Erickson was installed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fort Morgan in 2023 after serving two prior parishes, Zion in Farmington, New Mexico (2004-2023), and First Lutheran in Tooele, Utah (2004-2014). Pastor Erickson and his wife Laura enjoy reading, cooking and listening to music and watching movies together. His son John is now an adult with whom he still likes to go rock hounding, playing pool, and otherwise looking for adventure. Pastor Erickson enjoys hunting, shooting skeet, wood carving and lapidary projects. Professionally he is best known for translating numerous books mostly by Bo Giertz, a Swedish theologian, and writing various articles for blogs such as 1517.org and Mockingbird as well as various theological journals. He is currently working on a PhD through the Institute for Lutheran Theology out of Brookings, South Dakota.
